A service fit for a king

Outdoor events are a speciality of ours.  We feel as used to working in a field as an arena or event venue. We are often asked to provide the production for outdoor events.  Therefore we jumped at the chance to be involved with this event.

Richard, the last English king to die in battle, was killed at Bosworth Field in 1485, at the end of the Wars of the Roses. The king’s remains were found beneath a Leicester car park in 2012.

LUX Technical were asked to provide the power, sound and video for the ceremony and press conference for Leicestershire City Council. The press conference was held in the Bosworth Battlefield and attended by hundreds. LUX provided the power for the event, which being in a remote location was done with generators. We also installed the PA system which was fed across the full site allowing everyone to hear the event well. In addition we provided a time lapse of the procession.
