LUX Technical was selected to support Amazon’s UK launch of Alexa+, the next generation of its conversational AI assistant, at London’s iconic 180 Studios. Designed as an immersive media experience for leading UK journalists and industry stakeholders, the showcase transformed the venue into a series of fully functional, life-sized environments where guests could experience Alexa+ in realistic everyday settings.
Cloud Songs on the Horizon – Ranjani Shettar
Commissioned by the Barbican in partnership with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Cloud Songs on the Horizon was artist Ranjani Shettar’s first major institutional show in Europe. We were invited to provide lighting design, installation and technical support for five large-scale, site-specific suspended sculptures throughout the Conservatory.

A powerful, cinematic installation from poet and artist JulianKnxx, Chorus in Rememory of Flight explores identity, memory, and belonging through stories of the African diaspora. Exhibited at the Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian in Lisbon.
Reverb: The Vinyl Factory at 180 Studios
A boundary-pushing exhibition celebrating 20 years of artistic collaborations between The Vinyl Factory and world-renowned visual and sonic artists. We were approached by 180 Studios to provide full technical support — installing and programming a complex multimedia environment across multiple gallery zones. The result was a seamless integration of LED, projection, and sonic installations that amplified each artist’s vision while staying sensitive to the venue’s gallery-led aesthetic.
